Waterfall

The Cascade de la Vis is without a doubt the most beautiful waterfall in Hérault! It is the perfect destination for a camping holiday. Located south of the Causses and the Cévennes, the place was recognized in 2011 as a UNESCO world heritage site. A most deserved recognition.

The site offers a set of ridges and valleys which reaches Mont Lozère and Mont Aigoual of the Cévennes National Park. La Vis and all its waterfalls are places very popular with the inhabitants of this magnificent region in the south of France. Many tourists come to spend their camping holidays there every year.

You can get there very easily by car or by bike. You can picnic on site, snack in the ice cream bar opposite or have lunch in the restaurant 2 minutes away on foot. Don’t forget your sunscreen and water shoes to make the most of it!
