The Great Site of France of the Cirque de Navacelles is in the heart of the Causses and Cévennes territory, inscribed on the list of world heritage of humanity by UNESCO in June 2011, under the cultural landscapes of Mediterranean agro-pastoralism. At the foot of the Larzac and the Cévennes, nestled in the gorges of the Vis and the southern Causses, more than a geological curiosity, the Cirque de Navacelles is the result of a harmonious alchemy between man and the millennial and renewed nature. This natural and protected area is home to a rich and varied terroir, with exceptional biodiversity. The grandiose landscapes are dotted with testimonies of agro-pastoralism and megaliths.

La Grotte des Demoiselles is located in the Upper Hérault valley in the heart of Languedoc Roussillon, between the Cévennes and the Mediterranean. The Vis is a non-domanial French river, an important Cévennes tributary of the Hérault on the right bank, which flows in the departments of Gard and Hérault in the Occitanie region. Visit the place where it comes out of the earth or dive into one of these waterfalls!
